FAQ

What is the return and exchange policy?

Please read the return and exchange policy on the ordering page carefully, in particular that they DO NOT accept returns or exchanges, except in the case of a defect. If there is an issue with the shirt, such as a printing error, you are asked to message the vendor.

If I order the wrong size, can I exchange the shirt?

No. Each shirt is a custom print, so it's not possible to exchange a shirt for a different size. If you end up with a shirt that's not your size, consider selling it to another member!

If I accidentally order the wrong quantity, or I don't receive my shirt because I input my shipping address incorrectly or incompletely, can I get a refund?

No. Be sure that you choose the correct quantity and fill out your shipping and billing addresses completely and correctly! 

Who is organizing the orders?

Each member will order their own shirt, and it will be delivered by mail to their home. No waiting for a group order to be placed or an obligation to show up on a certain day to pick up your shirt!

How long will it take to get my shirt?

Shipment times can vary, but our sample shirts arrived within about 2 weeks of placing the order.

What size should I order?

Detailed sizing information is provided on the ordering site. Be sure to read the "About Product" section. It contains measurements.

What's the deadline to order a shirt?

There isn't one! We plan to keep the listing active for the foreseeable future so that current and future members alike can order shirts on demand.

How does the cost of this shirt compare to past club shirts?

The last time we ordered shirts was 5 years ago. We are proud to report that despite prices going up significantly since then, these shirts actually cost about the same amount, even taking into account the cost of shipping to your home.

Do I have to pay more for larger sizes?

There is a nominal markup for 2XL and 3XL sizes.

Is there a way to reduce shipping costs?

The vendor we chose already has very low shipping rates, but if you want to reduce costs even further, consider pooling your order with those of friends. Orders with multiple shirts cost less per shirt to ship.

Why are the shirts short sleeved?

A short-sleeved shirt is more versatile. In essence, it's easier to put on a sweater than to swelter in the summer. One of the considerations was that many of us play at Music in the Park during warmer months.

Why is the sizing unisex and why isn't there a v-neck option?

Our best option for a vendor offers unisex shirts in a round neck only. She has done research on which shirt performs the best, and she stands behind her choice of product.

Why is the shirt black?

We have a great club logo, designed by our very own Lynn Watson! Her colorful design contains brown, green, black, white, and lavender. We need a neutral color that won't compete with that combination. Options were limited, and we felt that black was the best choice. Also, for the past two years, club members have worn black t-shirts for our open mic number at Smoldering Uke, and it has worked very well.
